Building Sustainable Communities

At Fields of Zion International we are “Building sustainable communities from the ground up.”
Why Now?
The greatest harvest this world has ever witnessed is occurring right now. The Lord’s fields are ripe and ready to be reaped. Yet while the spiritual fields are filled with ripening fruit, a time of great trouble lies at the doorstep. At the end of summer, the harvest must be gathered into storehouses to be preserved before winter. A season of great difficulty and famine lies ahead. Like the days of Joseph and Noah, God has a plan and a people prepared for such a time as now. Fields of Zion international is a part of that plan, and you can be a crucial piece. The time to act is now!
A Global Vision for Building Sustainable Communities
God gave the whole earth to man to plant His gardens. Fields of Zion International is working to sow the seeds of a global community with local roots.

The Project:
Intentional Christian Communities
featuring
Interactive Farmstead & Cultural Learning Centers.
Why build a community around a farm? A community with deep roots and a close connection to creation is both strong and resilient. Interactive Farmstead & Cultural Learning Centers provide many benefits:
- Anchors the community to the land which God has given for his provisions.
- Teaches the skills necessary for living a simple, satisfying life, filled with abundance and joy.
- Build the community whose core centers around covenant relationships. First towards God, but equally important towards each other.
- Displays a way of life which differs, and is set apart, from the busyness and distractions of the modern age. Allowing time for the most important aspects of life to have preeminence.
- Develop strong cultural roots by establishing a bond between service in the works of one’s hands.

Leadership: The David Ministry
Interactive Farmstead & Cultural Learning Centers are organized and led by an assembly of elders, firmly committed to ensuring the practical & spiritual needs of the community are met. The “Assembly” meets regularly to plan and implement community projects under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
We strive to build working relationships between existing local churches and ministries, breaking down the walls of separation which exist in the church today. Thus, we look to partner with the local church/body five-fold leadership in a symbiotic relationship.
