Farm Internships at Saco River Farms, Steep Falls, Maine

Future Farm Manager in Training Internship at Saco River Farms
This specialized internship program seeks to provide a higher level of skilled learning and the potential of a transition to a long term, full time managerial position at Saco River Farms or another Fields of Zion International Partner farm.
- Internship Starts: April 1st-November
Duration: 6 months (flexible) - Number of Internship Available: 2
- Application Deadline: (open until filled)
- Hours: 40-50 hours per week, 5-6 days per week
- Benefits: 1 week unpaid vacation after 4 months.
- Stipend: $800-$1000 per month (experience & performance determined)
- Farm Store discount: (30% personal use items only)
- Garden produce: (unlimited seasonal produce from gardens for personal use)
- Minimum Length of Stay: 6 months
- End of season bonus
- Onsite housing (first come first serve)
- Full time employment possibility after 6 months. $15-$20/hr. base pay plus performance bonuses.
- Parking for 1 vehicle
- Applicants must have at least 1 prior, 6+ month farming internship, verifiable.
Livestock and Dairy Farm Internship at Saco River Farms
