Business in the Community

Home » Business in the Community

Businesses in the community set the tone for how the committee operates. Businesses are important for the health of the community, to bring in resources, and to act as a point of contact with the outside world. however, it is how the businesses conduct business that most defines the pace of life within the community.

My people need a slower pace, that enables them to spend time with Me, to labor with Me. Not as a job, for their provision comes from Me, not their works, but instead is a labor of Love(agape / ḥeseḏ) towards each other and their neighbors.

Their work is to do my work and in doing so I will be their God and they will be My people.

The products produced are not as important as how they are produced. Look first to meet the needs within the community. Then you can look at how the community can meet the needs of others.

Abba Father, given to Mark Bevan

Meeting community needs through business

  • Stimulate positive business growth by rebuilding the local infrastructure to produce products which meets the needs of its community.
  • rebuild the true working free-market economy where prices reflect realistic costs of production.
  • Strong focus on value added products
  • short supply chains, minimal distribution, is direct to customer as possible.
  • Community should revolve around food supply. A direct connection to the land stimulates quality of life, by allowing for a slower paced lifestyle, a greater connection to creation and the Creator, while teaching the principles of the value of life.
