Frequently Asked Questions

Fields of Zion exists to help believers understand the times, discern where God is leading, and prepare their households in wisdom and peace. Below are answers to common questions that provide clarity about what FOZI is and is not.

What is Fields of Zion?

Fields of Zion is a Christian teaching resource focused on spiritual preparation, biblical patterns, and understanding how God moves His people in times of transition. It offers maps, frameworks, and discipleship materials for those seeking clarity about the season we are in.

It is not an institution, organization, or membership-based group. It is a body of teaching offered freely to those who find it helpful.

Is FOZI a church?

No. Fields of Zion is not a church and does not function as one. It is a teaching and discipleship resource that works alongside the spiritual formation ministry of First Light.

First Light Ministries serves as the spiritual foundation; FOZI provides the outward blueprint.

Is FOZI political?

No. FOZI is not aligned with any political party, movement, or agenda. Its focus is biblical patterns, spiritual discernment, and preparation—not political commentary or activism.

Does FOZI predict timelines or dates?

No. FOZI does not set dates or speculate about specific timelines. The purpose of this work is to help believers prepare their hearts, households, and communities in wisdom, without fear or speculation.

We teach principles, patterns, and discernment—not predictions.

Are you telling people to move?

No. FOZI does not tell anyone where to live or when to move. We present biblical patterns, historical examples, and geographic frameworks so believers can pray, seek the Lord, and discern His leading for themselves.

Every household must move in peace, not pressure.

What are “Corridors of Movement”?

Corridors are patterns of migration that appear when people move in response to economic, spiritual, or geographic pressures. Scripture, history, and modern analysis all show that people tend to move along specific paths.

FOZI simply identifies the patterns; we do not direct anyone’s decisions.

What are “Refuge Zones” or “Refuge Arcs”?

Refuge Zones are areas that historically and biblically function as places of stability, preservation, or protection during seasons of shaking. These are not survival compounds or communal experiments. They are geographic regions that have strategic advantages—spiritually, relationally, and practically—for long-term resilience.

Is FOZI a survivalist or prepper movement?

No. FOZI is not a prepper movement. Our focus is spiritual preparation, wisdom, community, and biblical discernment—not fear-based survivalism.

We teach households to become grounded, stable, and spiritually prepared, not to stockpile or panic.

Does FOZI promote communal living?

No. FOZI does not require or promote communal living. Some believers may feel led to form shared communities or households, but FOZI does not prescribe a particular model.

We simply offer principles for healthy, biblical communities where appropriate.

Is this a new denomination or Christian sect?

Absolutely not. FOZI aligns with historic, orthodox Christian faith and is not forming a denomination, sect, or exclusive membership body.

We serve the broader Body of Christ.

How does FOZI relate to First Light Ministries?

First Light provides spiritual formation, inner healing, and discipleship resources. FOZI provides biblical patterns, geographic frameworks, and community guidance.

Together they form two sides of one work:
First Light prepares the heart.
FOZI prepares the household and the path.

Donations to the FOZI work are processed through First Light Ministries.

Do you collect or share personal information?

No. Information shared through the contact form is used only for communication and prayerful understanding. We do not share, sell, or distribute personal data. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may request removal at any time.

(See the Privacy & Safety page for more.)

Are you forming a network or organization?

FOZI is not forming an organization or recruiting people into a network. We are offering teaching and resources that help people discern their own path with God.

If relationships form naturally, or if communities emerge in certain regions, that is something the Lord Himself builds.

Do I have to agree with everything on this site?

No. We invite every reader to test everything, pray, seek the Lord, and move only in peace. Use what helps you and set aside what does not.

There is no pressure to adopt any particular view.

Can I share these materials?

Yes. You are welcome to share FOZI materials with friends, family, or prayer groups as long as you do not alter the content or use it for commercial purposes. Please cite the source when sharing.
