Saco River Valley: Southern Maine & New Hampshire
In 2010, The Lord began calling founder, Mark Bevan to pray and seek wisdom for a greater understanding of the season we are now living in and what effect that timing would have on the community both now and in the future.
One thing became very clear… Great change was coming soon, and most people would not be ready for it! The Holy Spirit was saying that the world would soon face greater challenges than ever in the history of mankind. Great migrations, historic floods & weather events, financial collapse, wars and famine are all lurking on the doorstep.
With a vission of restoring local sustainable agriculture, food security, and quality jobs to the Saco River Valley region, he began laying the foundations for a series of interconected and well diversified agricultural opperations. These farms share the common goal of meeting the communities needs concerning food, while at the same time, working to shine the light of Christ as a beacon of hope by exemplifying Christian values in the workplace.
Field of Zion International, a former Maine based Non profit, was an earlier attempted project, designed to be a bridge between business and community. This early attempt at walking out our ministry, demonstrates two things well. Firstly that walking in the wilderness can be bumpy road and your not always going to get it right the first time. But that’s the point, this is the place to learn how to make mistakes, and also to see the amazing ways God will make use mistakes teaching us in the process.

Jamaica Ministry
Founder, Mark Bevan along with his wife Karie Bevan, have a long and deep love for the people and land of Jamaica, a tiny island nation with a deep cultural history. In 2012 The Lord called them to begin making plans to expand their work of ministry through farming and community development in Jamaica.
